Relevant Information of e-Passport

Relevant Information of e-Passport :

  • If the current e-Passport has Expired or needs Information Alteration/Correction(s) or Unusable, applicants should apply for e-Passport Re-Issue.
  • Doctors, Engineers, Motor vehicle Drivers and other Professionals should submit appropriate certificate in support of their profession.  
  • Minor applicants (under 12 years) must upload father and/or mother photographs (not more than 06 months old) with their application.
  • Retired Government employees may submit photocopy of the ‘Pension Book’ for availing ‘Express Service’ with regular fee. 
  • For official passport, applicants must submit copy of the Government Order (GO) in support of their application.
  • If applicants wish to add any further information/comments/documents in support of their application, may upload.

 

Tips for DIP application form fill-up:

  1. Please tick 'I have read the above information and the relevant guidance notes and continue to Online Enrolment.
  2. Please select 'Canada' as your country of application.
  3. Fill the form correctly with all mandatory fields (*) and click “Save” button.
  4. Applicants should add his/her middle name (if any) with the first name in the 'First Part (Given Name) box' to reflect his/her full name in the passport.
  5. At the 'Passport Application- stage 3' (Payment Information) applicants must select 'Non-Online' followed by 'Skip Payment'.
  6. Applicants will receive an email containing Application ID and Password. Please preserve this DIP application ID and Password carefully for future use i.e. print/view/modification of the online application.
  7. To submit the 'DIP Form-1', click “submit” button; applicant is not allowed to modify anything after clicking “submit”. After submission, applicants should download a pdf copy of the filled-in 'DIP Form-1' for onward upload to the BDCG Online Application.
  8. DIP Online Application (DIP Form-1) remains valid for 120 days from the date of submission, after that online application will be removed automatically. Applicants must be present at the Consulate within 120 days of online application.
